Elephant Returns Child’s Shoe After It Was Dropped into His Enclosure

I know. Don’t say it. I am corny and fascinated with elephants.

The elephant in the following video is in the Shandong province of eastern China. The 25-year-old elephant was caught on camera, returning a shoe to a little boy after the shoe fell into his enclosure. The little boy then gave the elephant some grass. Heartwarming.

Random elephant fact:

Did you know that one of the sounds that elephants can make is purring? They use their trunks to make sounds like roars, cries, snorts, and purring. They purr like cats. I would pay money to hear an elephant purr.
