“I give you this to take with you:
Nothing remains as it was. If you know this, you can
begin again, with pure joy in the uprooting.”
Judith Minty, Letters to My Daughters

Let’s make this clear. I love Hillary Clinton. I voted for her. I consider her a competent and skilled politician — a role model for women everywhere. I bought her book and devoured it. I wish she had won the election the 2016 election. I admire her. But I do not want her to run for President in 2024 because she will be 76 years old. I do not want any more of the old guard as President from either party. There are whispers that she might consider running again. No, girl, don’t do it. Don’t do it.

America is going through challenges that will not yield to the old ways. We need someone who understands that this is NOT the American Democratic and Republican parties of old; in today’s world, there are politicians on both sides that are not out for the good of anyone but themselves. These guys think nothing of reneging on their word and on their constituents.

You can call me an ageist; I’m retired and old enough to legally collect…
