Biden called Kamala off vacation the day before the government did not shut down. She came blazing back to Washington, DC, with sirens blaring so it would be well-known that she was in town. Did you see that walk when she arrived back in DC? If not, you had better check out some videos. I love that look for her…and for me.
I will get some expensive wine today to celebrate the government’s non-shutdown. I have been drinking my wolfberry tea and eating those tiny chocolate cream-filled pastry cakes while scrooling the Republican drama on social media like it was an old-time TV soap opera. I get my news from reading, social media, and independent news sources. We don’t discuss politics at my house until after 7 p.m.
