I think that all parents of every generation are in a Catch 22 with their children.

I was once one of those people who wanted my child to have a voice. I was compelled to prove definitively that children, given voices, would need less therapy, drink less, think more, and evolve exponentially. But I was wrong.

I think that all parents of every generation are in a Catch 22 with their children. Tough love or gentle parenting --both will prodcue geniuses, normal people and serial killers.
