I wish I could say I thought about all actions ahead of time. Some I do. I think it was my upbringing in the Chicago projects that saved me. He who hesitates to respond when confronted in the projects is marked as weak. Weak will get abused and/or killed in no time. As the older sister of five siblings, people had to know what I would do when they messed with me or mine. I respond in kind. And they all knew.
