I was out in midafternoon, planting shade Hellebore flowers. The flowers arrived the day before. These beautiful plants traveled halfway across the country. I needed to get them out of their plastic shipping boxes and into the ground as soon as possible. I specially ordered the multicolored flowering plants over five months ago. The nursery ships the plants so they arrive at the proper time to be planted.
I have two indoor cats, Dark and Tall. Dark is a beautiful dark brown Sable Ragdoll, while Tall is a long-legged Munchkin. When I work in front of my house, the two cats may be outside with me. They sit on the porch and supervise my actions. Tall is the adventurous one. He runs to the door when the doorbell rings like a dog to see who is at the door. Dark hides when the doorbell rings. He is not interested in whatever is going on, unless he is feeling like a dog that day, then he also runs to the door.
