Grey Sweatpants Season

First, I had no idea what grey sweatpants season was. I was ignorant of what it means to the younger generations when a man walks by with gray sweatpants in the fall. I did not know there was even a season for sexy sweatpants.

When I was the age of the Gen X folks, most men’s sweatpants were grey or black. Now there is a rainbow of sweatpants colors for men. The fall season only cares about the greys.

My younger female relatives are coming to visit. They asked if there was a basketball court near my home so that we could go people-watching. We would meet to have lunch and then go to the park to watch the young men play basketball. It would be a girl’s day of it, leaving the boyfriends, husbands, significant others, and children at home — just us girls.

Don’t Forget Your Glasses

One of my cousins laughed and said, “Don’t forget your glasses. We plan to see some things.” I, of course, asked what things we would see…
