Lost Dog Wandering With Favorite Toy Gets A Forever Home

You will have to forgive me when I post stories that make me smile. I want to pass the smiles along. These stories are not money-makers; they are for fun.
I saw this content on Facebook and immediately gave money to the rescue. I registered both of my cats with Almost Home in case they got lost when they came to live with me years ago. Almost Home is a no-kill rescue shelter that offers a paid service to help you find your lost animals.
When I get an email note from Almost Home that someone lost a pet in my area, I watch for that pet. Sometimes, I will go out looking for the pet if it is lost close to me.
“This is urgent and heartbreaking. This beautiful German shepherd dog has been wandering the streets with his toy stuffy in his mouth. We were told his owner passed away.”
