I own a Sable Ragdoll cat. The cat, whom I call Dark to protect his privacy, is a full-blooded, specially-bred Ragdoll. We bought him for much less than his regular breeder price. He did not look like a super sable when we got him. He was dark brown instead of white as a kitten. His brothers and sisters were white. He grew into a beautiful brown Sable when he was eight months old. Dark is my cat. One enduring thing about him is that he wants to take my husband’s place.
The cat’s fur normally looks like an expensive mink coat. Like a reverse Siamese, he has deep ombre brown points on his face, feet, ears, and tail. Besides being the unusual color brown, he is a stunning-looking cat.
