No. I always clap but the number of claps varies. I highlight the essence of the story. I comment if the story moves me. I think it is rude to read and not clap and highlight.

I stay on stories I decide NOT to read 30 seconds because I don’t want to penalize someone because I decide not to read. It is hard enough to make money here without me hopping around affecting earnings while looking for an article to read.
