I did not want Joe Biden to withdraw as the candidate for President of the United States.

I was “riding with Biden” to the end. Today, Biden withdrew and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement on the ticket. There is nothing in this world that is certain but change.

The announcement that Joe is not at the top of the ticket is making me quiver. I need to go to work.

I was satisfied being a follower volunteer when Biden was running; now, I need to use some of my leadership skills to start a team to work for Kamala.

In my lifetime, I have voted for both Republican and Democrat presidents. Sometimes, my candidates won, and other times, they lost.

When Obama ran, I was a registered Republican. I started a group in my neighborhood that I called the Obamaicans, which eventually had over 100 people from both parties working for Obama. We turned our assigned area Blue through arduous work and turning out the vote.

After Obama was elected, the behavior of the Tea Party drove me to become a Democrat (again), which I still am today because they never went back to the priorities that attracted me to…
