Now and again, I am reminded of how jealous some people are. A woman I know husband died. He deliberately left her so little that she must continue working. How do we know that? Glad you asked. He told her so in his will.
He did not want her to be financially independent. He did not want his death to improve her life. The idea of her spending his money on herself incised him. She struggles to survive. He desired to control her life from his grave, and he did. I suspect he laughs from hell at her life without him. He was a terrible choice for a companion.
Remember us but be satisfied with someone else. There are things that death cannot touch, and that includes my need for you to do well.
Such destructive behavior makes you think. I tell my spouse: once I am gone, do whatever you want. I will leave you as much as I can; I’m dead. Don’t live alone. Get another partner. Buy a new mattress for our bed to make the bed ok for your new partner. Make her (or him) happy. Laugh at the…
