Clear blue water
Reflecting me
Swimming hard
My anger at death
My joy at love
My sadness at human frailty
My pleasure at unselfish acts
The sun on the water
The leaves in the pool
The cat following me on the rim as I swim
Tapping down the overwhelming urge to
Slap - hug - kiss - punch -sex someone
Leaving the intense emotions in the pool
Instead of on the culprit where they will flinch
Draining the emotions into my blue vault
I love you pool
