Because for me, the ends certainly justify the means. If I were to apply and enter 4 personal essays, and they were adapted and used beyond the confines of this platform, then think it would not only be a huge compliment but I would also see it as a small price to pay in order to get myself more established as a writer.

Thank you for this article. It is clear and concise about submitting to the contest. I too am going to submit with my eyes wide open. Being a witer is a hard gig. $50,000 is worth going after for me.
