“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the
greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.”–Babe Ruth

This is my one-woman opinion.

Not About Me

Let’s get this out of the way: I will fight hard beside you to protect our rights as women, but you folks need to get real here.

We need to work together. Let’s be straight with one another. The men in power are not after me. My womb means nothing to them. Not a damn thing. Since we want to organize to stop the elimination of women’s rights to an abortion, we must accept that this is about white wombs.

The men in power couldn’t care less about little brown babies. The fear is not there will not be enough minority babies in the future. The fear is there will not be “enough” working-class white people to exploit in the years to come.

Everyone knows people with money have never lacked access to whatever they wanted, including abortion. Women with money will book a trip to another state, and no one will ever know. How would they know? Lots of people take off on Thursday and come back…
