Today was National Botox Day.

Being a woman over 50, I received ten discount offers to come in and have my face stuck with tiny needles. Now, don’t get me wrong. I don’t put down any man or woman who gets Botox; people do whatever they want to their own bodies.

However, I do not appreciate the pictures in these ads of people who do not need Botox. In at least two of them, the come-and-get-it ads, the men and women were perhaps 25. Maybe?

If you want to entice me to the plastic surgeon, you need to put some old, beat-down-looking people in the ads. Then, show me how great they look after you poke them in the face.

Otherwise, you will get my reaction: I tore the ad up and kept it moving.
