We liked each other, which was a problem because we both already had someone.

I was working in Italy when I met a man who was everything I already had in a spouse. He was the Director of Manufacturing for his factory, and I was the Director of Manufacturing for mine. We liked each other. Instant attraction.

For the next week, he and I worked together for twelve hours/day. We finished one day early. He took me to lunch. He said, “We have the day off tomorrow. Why don’t we spend it together?” I told him I didn’t want to put myself in front of temptation: and he was temptation personified. “Who would know,” he said. I said, “I would”. And there went my chance for a sexy liaison. Ah, but what a lovely thing it was to be asked.
