We wanted our children to have a better life than we had. My children are not as tough as the projects made
Me and I did not want them to be. That needed a different experience. I did that on purpose. They got to be children.
My grandchildren are not as tough as my children, again done on purpose. They were allowed to be children in a way we never were.
Were we wrong for that? I don’t think so- but maybe.
