Well written article BUT it does not apply to minorities. Like it or not, minorities still need the back-up of degrees from accredited institutions. After many years in industry, I still had those who demanded my credentials before they accepted my expertise. Did I like it? No. Did I need to work with those customers anyway? Yes?
