When I learned the US only needs 70% vaccinated to reach herd immunity my heart soared.
We can do this. Here are the numbers.
There have been:
153,448,316 people given one dose.
116,576359 are fully vaccinated
58.5% older than 18 have received a shot
44.7% older than 18 fully vaccinated
46.2% of the total population had one shot
35.1% of the total population fully vaccinated
That means the 30% of people who want to walk around unprotected, unmasked and unvaccinated can get away from me while yelling about their freedom. Be free over there, in case you are carrying a variant. Yea, America.
